Chatwoot brings live chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels into one shared inbox, with canned replies, labels and a help centre. It is open source and self hostable, which makes it a common replacement for closed support suites.

The thing that held up for us: Replaced intercom and cut the bill by about ninety percent. Self hosted on a small server.

My take: V4.17.1 in august. Steady releases, nothing dramatic, which is what you want from support software.

small thing, but whatsapp and instagram channels in the same inbox is what sold our marketing team...
