These terms apply to everyone who uses startupindex.net, whether as a visitor, a member or a founder listing a startup. Using the site means you accept them.
Accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address safe. One person, one account. We can close accounts that break these terms.
Listings
- You may only submit a startup you own or are allowed to represent.
- What you submit must be accurate. We may edit taglines and descriptions for clarity and remove listings that are misleading, illegal or off topic.
- We decide which listings go live. A rejection is not a judgment on your product.
- You keep the rights to the text and logo you upload and give us permission to show them on the site, in the newsletter and in social media posts about the site.
Voting and comments
Upvotes must come from real people who chose to vote. Buying votes, running bots or creating extra accounts to vote gets the listing and the accounts removed. Comments must be civil and on topic.
Paid boosts
Boosts are sold for a fixed number of days at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Mollie. A boost changes where a listing is shown and never its upvote count. See the refund policy for refunds.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it online and accurate, but we do not promise a certain uptime, ranking or amount of traffic. We are not responsible for the products listed or for what happens when you use them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
