About Ghost
Ghost is a publishing platform for newsletters, blogs and paid memberships. Posts go out as email and live on the web at the same time, payments run through Stripe, and the whole thing is open source and self hostable if you do not want the managed version.

Self hosting needs a bit of care w/ email. Mailgun is basically required for bulk sending.
