About Railway
Railway takes a repo and runs it, adding Postgres, Redis or MySQL as services on a canvas you can see. Environments, private networking and usage based pricing are built in, and deploys happen on every push.

The canvas view where you see your services and how they connect is such a good idea. I have made peace with the settings page.

Usage based pricing is honest but you should set a hard limit before you forget about a staging environment.

no joke, deploys from a repo with zero config most of the time. when it works it feels like magic.
