About Unkey
Unkey issues and verifies API keys for your service, with per key rate limits, expiry, usage quotas and analytics. Verification runs at the edge so the extra hop does not cost you much latency, and the code is open source.

Edge verification keeps the latency hit small. We measured about 20ms added.

weirdly, they version every service separately now which makes the releases page confusing to read.
