WorkOS adds the things big customers ask for before they sign: SAML and OIDC single sign on, SCIM directory sync, audit logs and fine grained permissions. It is one API instead of a separate integration for every identity provider.

Saml is miserable to implement and this makes it one integration instead of twenty.

Pricing per connection rather than per user is much friendlier for enterprise deals. Apparently that was the hard part.
